The Challenges & Solutions
MW Maiden Property completed a successful renovation project to bring a 1930s-built, 2-bedroom semi-detached property up to modern standards, suitable for sale on the market or for buy-to-let purposes.
The house had been left in an outdated condition by its previous owners and had been on the market for a long period, with a full renovation needed throughout to make the property a high-quality family home.
The project included the full removal of a legacy 1970s heating system, which included a floor-mounted gas boiler, and the installation of a replacement combi gas boiler, along with a full radiator replacement. A new boiler was installed in the kitchen, and the old boiler cupboard was converted into a utility room.
Project delivery timescales were successfully met within the 4-month timeframe, employing local tradespeople across the North West England region.
After completion, the house was placed onto the BTL rental market and was successfully let within 3 weeks to a local couple.
The company paid the local council over one year's council tax on the empty property, which was used for local funding within the county.
